Backyard Harvest works in partnership with our community to connect those with extra fresh produce and those who need it.

Fruits and vegetables have the highest wastage rates of any food products; almost half of all fruits and vegetables produced are wasted.

At least 25,000 people on the Palouse and in the Lewis-Clark Valley struggle with food security on a regular basis.

Our work ensures fruits and vegetables in our region that would otherwise go to waste make it to food access points such as pantries, senior meal sites, and after-school programs.
